Curriculum Vitae:

Prof. Dr. Hans-Jörg Fischer studied law at the Universities of Heidelberg, Geneva and Lausanne (Switzerland) and Strasbourg (France). He recieved his doctoral degree at the University of Heidelberg. In 1997, Hans-Jörg Fischer graduated for the 2nd state exam as best 7% of the Federal State of Baden-Württemberg. After his admission at the bar, he worked several years with Clifford Chance lawyers/solicitors in Frankfurt/Main and London, focusing on tax and company law matters. After working with Deloitte&Touche in Frankfurt/Main as tax manager, he qualified as Certified Expert Attorney for Tax Law (Fachanwalt für Steuerrecht), Certified Expert Attorney for Trade & Company Law (Fachanwalt für Handels- und Gesellschaftsrecht) and Tax Advisor (Steuerberater), and established his own law firm in Mannheim, with a branch in Munich.

Hans-Jörg Fischer also works as professor and director of studies at the private university of applied science for economics and management (FOM) in Mannheim. Besides, he is lecturer on a regular basis at Heidelberg University. He is author of numerous Articles on economic and tax law matters in Germany and the UK.

In addition, Hans-Jörg Fischer is chairman of the examining board for Certified Expert Attorneys for Tax Law both at Karlsruhe and Freiburg Bar Association.

Hans-Jörg Fischer focuses mainly on advising business companies on corporation law, trade law including agency law and tax law matters. In addition, he provides full-scale legal advice regarding the legal transformation of companies and corporations. Furthermore, Hans-Jörg Fischer advises on M&A transactions and the succession of bussinesses and companies. Hans-Jörg Fischer has also a wide range of experience as Defence Attorney in white collar crime and tax fraud matters.
